SEASONAL AFFECTIVE DISORDER (SAD) PRIMER FOR TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS - SAD is sometimes called the “winter blues”. It’s a type of depression that shows up in winter and lessens, or goes away, during the summer months when there’s lots of sunshine.
